男 ，土家族 ，1938年生 ，湖南龙山人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目土家族摆手舞代表 性传承人。 张明光从小得师傅秦恩如亲传 ，全盘掌握了土家族大、 小摆手的歌舞内容及 “舍 巴日”的仪轨 ，成为摆手舞第二十五代掌堂师。他的舞姿自然洒脱 ，嗓音高亢嘹亮。他除在 当地传授摆手舞 ，培养了胡清文、 田承德、秦恩瑞等摆手舞艺人外 ，还多次应邀到长沙、 吉 首、 张家界等地授徒传艺 ，对土家族摆手舞的传承发展做出了重要贡献。
