男 ，土家族 ，1941年生 ，湖南龙山人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目土家族打溜子代表 性传承人。 早年随本地乐班学习土家族打溜子 ，后在县艺术表演团体任演奏员并从事音乐创 作 ，1984年后在县文化馆、 县政协机关任职 ，原县政协副主席。退休后担任湘西自治州 “ 民 族民间文化保护工程”工程专家委员会主任等职 ，多次在国际国内大赛中获奖 ，并在国内多 家艺术院校传授土家族打溜子技巧。 多年来 ，田隆信搜集整理了380万字的民族艺术资料 ，获 “中国民间文化杰出代表性传承人”称号 ，被《中国民间名人录》《中国少数民族艺术辞典 》《国际名人录》等二十多部辞书收录 ，代表曲目有《锦鸡出山》《毕兹卡的节日》等。
