男 ，汉族 ，1933年生 ，广东潮州人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目潮州音乐代表性传承 人。 曾师从徐涤生学习古筝演奏 ，先后在汕头地区文工团、汕头市潮州音乐曲艺团工作， 1981年任中国音乐学院客座教授 ，兼任中央音乐学院、 中国戏曲学院、 西安音乐学院、天津 音乐学院等校教师 ，并赴台湾地区、新加坡、荷兰、 比利时等地讲学 ，培养出大批古筝、 琵 琶等演奏人才。其演奏雅尔不矜、 丽而不俗、清朗恬淡、 意境悠远 ，多次为中央电视台、 中 国国际广播电台录制节目 ，出版《千声佛》等个人CD专辑。
