男 ，汉族 ，1935年生 ，湖北宜昌人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目宜昌丝竹代表性传承 人 ，机械技师四级。 1951年 ，黄太柏随杨树柏学艺并随师傅以艺谋生 ，为宜昌丝竹第六代传 人。他擅长大鼓及二胡、笛子演奏 ，其鼓乐演奏有板有眼、 张弛有度、整齐划一 ，具有较高 的艺术水平 ，多次在全国及省市民间艺术大赛中获奖。代表曲目有：《六字一流》《小桃红 》《粉荷莲》等。
