男 ，汉族 ，1929年生 ，上海人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目江南丝竹代表性传承人， 上海民族乐团演员 ，国家二级演奏员。 自幼即得父亲传授江南丝竹音乐 ，其父周俊卿为20世 纪沪上江南丝竹名家。后又参加国乐大师孙裕德先生领导的上海国乐研究会 ，专研古典音乐 。他演绎的丝竹乐曲韵味隽永,风格鲜明 ，运腔加花 ，典雅秀丽。尤精于二胡演奏 ，音色优美 、 音质醇厚。被誉为 “江南丝竹四大天王”之一。独奏曲《二泉映月》为其代表作。
