男 ，土家族 ，1949年生 ，重庆人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目南溪号子代表性传承人 。 自幼学艺 ，在生产生活中向老一辈南溪号子爱好者求教 ，很快掌握了主要腔板 ，成为当地 南溪号子能手。 2004年在黔江区山歌比赛中获得 “歌王”称号。 2006年被黔江区人民政府命 名为 “ 民间艺术大师”。现主要着力于南溪号子文字资料的整理和传承工作。代表作品有： 《大板腔》《三台深》等。
