男 ，回族 ，1949年生 ，青海大通人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目花儿（老爷山花儿 会）代表性传承人。 13岁开始学唱花儿。 1986年开始在传统花儿的基础上 ，创编以神话传说 和历史典故为起兴的 “新编大传花儿” 1059首。 2004年从窑洞小学退休后 ，仍致力于花儿的 传唱和传承。其所创作的花儿真实、形象、生动 ，演唱时婉转、优雅 ，既有山民的淳朴 ，又 有文人的灵动。 2003年编纂出版了《新编大传花儿》。
