男 ，汉族 ，1938年生 ，山西河曲人。第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目河曲民歌代表性传承 人。 曾师承河曲县著名二人台老艺人李法子。 1960年至1962年就职于河曲县二人台剧团。 1987年至2000年就职于河曲县职工业余剧团。 1962年至今带出二百多名河曲二人台和河曲 民歌演唱新人。其声音洪亮 ，音色纯正 ，表演娴熟 ，在中央、 山西、广州和中国香港等电视 台参加文艺演出并获各类奖项百余次。
