男 ，汉族 ，1926年生 ，河北涞水人。第一批国家级非物质文化遗产项目针灸代表性传承人， 首都医科大学附属北京中医医院教授、 主任医师、硕士生导师 ，中国针灸学会高级顾问、北 京针灸学会会长。他自幼师从京城针灸名家牛泽华 ，尽得针灸真传。他通过多年的临床经验 总结出 “病多气滞、法用三通”的学术思想 ，创立了独具特色的 “贺氏三通法” ，即微通法 、温通法、 强通法 ，核心在于根据不同的病机 ，采用不同的针具和手法 ，达到疏通经络、调 和气血、治愈疾病的目的。 三通法被医学界广泛学习、推广、继承、使用 ，成为1950年以后 针灸界重要的学术思想之一。贺普仁整理的《针灸宝库·明清卷》 ，系统收集、整理、研究明 清以来的针灸文献资料。贺普仁先后赴十几个国家和地区交流、讲学。著有：《针灸治痛》 《针具针法》《针灸歌赋临床应用》《毫针疗法图解》《火针疗法图解》等著作。
