男 ，汉族 ，1945年生 ，江苏南通人。第一批国家级非物质文化遗产项目风筝制作技艺（南通 板鹞风筝）代表性传承人 ，江苏省工艺美术大师。 郭承毅的父亲郭文和是南通郭氏风筝的创 始人 ，他随父学艺四十余年 ，设计制作了很多板鹞风筝作品和传统造型风筝作品。板鹞风筝 一般都装有 “哨口” ，放飞天空后能发出有节奏的音响。 鹞面图案彩绘精美 ，与哨口相互衬 托 ，形成独特美感 ，在中国风筝中形成了独一无二的艺术形式。他曾发表有关板鹞风筝的文 章数篇 ，代表作品有《门神》《板鹞风筝》等。 目前 ，郭承毅受聘于南通风筝博物馆 ，依然 从事板鹞风筝的研究和制作工作 ，并积极向徒弟传授技艺。
