男 ，汉族 ，1957年生 ，安徽绩溪人。第一批国家级非物质文化遗产项目徽墨制作技艺代表性 传承人 ，徽州民间工艺师。周美洪从小便接触徽墨 ，受其父嫡传 ，深得墨法真谛 ，技艺精益 求精。 1979年进入老胡开文墨厂从事制墨工艺； 1983年徽墨研究所成立后 ，开始从理论高度 研究、继承徽墨制作技艺 ，努力达到 “拈来轻 ，磨来清 ，嗅来馨 ，坚如玉 ，研无声 ，一点如 漆 ，万载求真”的制墨准则。 1992年 ，他指导制作的歙砚、徽墨作为礼品赠送给在上海出席 海峡两岸经贸合作会议的代表 ，受到广泛称赞。 1993年 ，他主持制定观赏墨、 收藏墨行业标 准 ，填补了我国墨业产品标准的空白。代表作品有 ：李廷珪牌超漆烟墨、李廷珪牌徽墨、超 细油烟松烟墨等。
