男 ，汉族 ，1939年生 ，福建厦门人。第一批国家级非物质文化遗产项目厦门漆线雕技艺代表 性传承人 ，中国工艺美术大师。蔡氏漆线雕是古代佛像雕塑装饰艺术的遗脉 ，蔡水况为蔡氏 漆线雕的第十二代传人 ，1956年起师从父亲蔡文沛 ，学习木雕、粉底、漆线、 上金、 上彩等 工艺。 1972年 ，蔡水况为当年的广交会创作了一批作品 ，并在此后的十年时间里 ，静心磨砺 出了很多优秀作品 ，这些成果成了蔡水况不可复制的骄傲。蔡水况的作品线条富有弹性 ，每 个局部都严谨处理 ，精细如发 ，布局巧妙 ，继承发展了 “错彩镂金 ，雕绘满眼”的美学理念 。代表作品有《波月洞悟空降妖》《闹天宫》《还我河山》等 ，其中《还我河山》和《波月 洞悟空降妖》在1994年被国家征为工艺美术珍品 ，收藏于中国工艺美术馆。蔡水况目前带徒 四人。
