男 ，保安族 ，1930年生 ，2009年去世 ，甘肃积石山人。第一批国家级非物质文化遗产项目保 安族腰刀锻制技艺代表性传承人。冶古白自幼随舅父马哈乃菲学习保安族腰刀锻制技艺 ，17 岁学艺成熟 ，开始在自家作坊打制 “保安腰刀”。他的独门绝艺是打制 “鱼刀” ， “鱼刀” 做工精细 ，造型美观 ，刀口锋利 ，张开时极富有弹性 ，特别是刀背上弹簧的设计更为奇巧。 他在农闲之余生产了大量的 “鱼刀” ，而且培养了一批传承人。
