男 ，汉族 ，1923年生 ，2009年去世 ，重庆人。第一批国家级非物质文化遗产项目走马镇民间 故事代表性传承人。 1985年至今已经采录民间故事1320则。他讲述的走马民间故事既有纯乡 土特色的内容 ，又有川东城镇特有的风味 ，能够将外来文化与本土文化巧妙地融合在一起。 1989年 ，《魏显德民间故事集》 由重庆出版社出版。 1998年 ，被授予 “ 中国十大民间故事讲 述家”称号。
