男 ，汉族 ，1949年生 ，江苏苏州人。第一批国家级非物质文化遗产项目苏州御窑金砖制作技 艺代表性传承人。金梅泉是金氏家族御窑金砖制作技艺的第五代传人 ，他自幼跟随父亲金兆 文学习金砖制作技艺 ，从选泥到制坯再到金砖的烧制 ，他都烂熟于心。金梅泉从事金砖制作 技艺已有四十余年 ，在他的带领下 ，陆慕御窑金砖制作技艺依然沿袭传统的手工制作而且日 臻成熟 ，成品御窑金砖方正古朴、光滑润泽、颜色青黛 ，平均大小误差不超过一毫米 ，被国 家古建研究中心正式认定为我国古建筑修缮的必选材料。北京故宫博物院太和殿、天安门城 楼、 颐和园、北海公园以及四大佛教圣地都铺设了御窑金砖。
