女 ，黎族 ，1955年生 ，海南乐东人。第一批国家级非物质文化遗产项目黎族传统纺染织绣技 艺代表性传承人。容亚美自幼年随母亲学习棉纺技艺以来 ，一直坚持手工棉纺制作 ，不断提 高和改进纺织技艺和图案 ，现在已经掌握了一套完整的黎族传统染纺织绣工艺 ，构图从简单 的图形发展到较复杂的图案 ，且变换多样 ，同时注意不断提高成品的整体品质。 2006年参加 海南省首届 “华宝杯”黎族织锦大赛 ，获得全省唯一的特等奖。 目前 ，女儿吉少强正跟随她 系统学习这项传统的纺织技艺。
