男 ，汉族 ，1939年生 ，江苏苏州人。第一批国家级非物质文化遗产项目苏州缂丝织造技艺代 表性传承人 ，中国工艺美术大师。 王金山于1956年入苏州市刺绣工艺美术社 ，师从沈金水学 习缂丝 ，经过多年的实践摸索 ，他能正确分析各年代缂丝作品织造结构、风格、特征 ，继而 对作品进行有效的技法定位、 制线、染色、修补、复制。他在继承传统的基础上发展了缂丝 新技法 ，首创缂丝全异 “寿星图”。他于1965年成功复制的宋代缂丝名家沈子蕃《梅鹊图》 被故宫博物院列为国家一级文物并收藏。 1977年制作的巨幅金地缂丝毛主席诗词《西江月·井 冈山》被毛主席纪念堂收藏。 2006年 ，缂丝金地牡丹蝴蝶中堂被中国艺术研究院收藏。 王金 山从20世纪60年代开始授徒 ，近年来不断扩大影响 ，曾发表文章多篇。
