男 ，汉族 ，1937年生 ，广东佛山人。第一批国家级非物质文化遗产项目石湾陶塑技艺代表性 传承人 ，中国工艺美术大师。石湾陶艺大都是家族传承 ，刘泽棉是其家族的第四代传人。他 自幼师承叔公刘佐朝 ，并深受刘传等名家的影响。其作品博取众长 ，融会贯通 ，自成一格， 具有雄健传神、古朴厚重的特点。他在塑造人物形象时 ，尤其在衣纹和筋骨的刻画上注重人 体结构特征 ，工意兼得、形神俱佳 ，具有浓厚的石湾传统陶艺特色。他在继承和发展石湾陶 艺方面做出了积极的贡献 ，作品多次参加国内外大型展览 ，并且亲临台湾国立大学、美国路 易安那州立大学传播石湾陶艺。 1987年、 1997年先后两次在中国香港举办个人作品展。他的 四个子女在家庭氛围的熏陶下 ，陆续加入陶艺制作行业 ，且工艺上各有成就。刘泽棉的代表 作品有《力量的源泉》《十八罗汉》《老子》等 ，其中《力量的源泉》《十八罗汉》被中国 美术馆收藏。
