男 ，汉族 ，1929年生 ，2012年去世 ，福建泉州人。第一批国家级非物质文化遗产项目灯彩 （泉州花灯）代表性传承人。每年的元宵节期间 ，泉州都有灯展 ，多姿多彩的花灯艺术是泉 州最具代表性的文化艺术之一。蔡炳汉在福建师范大学学习期间对民间花灯产生了浓厚兴 趣 ，在后来的工作中 ，他不断钻研、 自学花灯技艺。 1978年起 ，蔡炳汉首创《无骨花灯》参 加了历年泉州元宵节的花灯展 ，增加了泉州花灯的新品种。他还利用空气对流原理制作了《 游鱼灯》 ，其他代表作品有《众星拱月》《春光一品》《吴宫春晓》等。
