男 ，藏族 ，1964年生 ，青海同仁县人。第一批国家级非物质文化遗产项目热贡艺术代表性传 承人 ，中国工艺美术大师。 1970年 ，更登达吉随父亲夏吾榔学习唐卡绘画技艺； 1992年师从 桑吉学习泥塑艺术； 1981年出家在同仁县吾屯上寺专门从事唐卡绘画。 三十多年来 ，更登达 吉绘制了四百余幅唐卡 ，颜色丰富和谐 ，他还吸收雕塑的优点运用于唐卡绘制上 ，使人物更 真实 ，更有感染力。其作品广布于众多寺院以及十几个国家和地区 ，代表作品有《四大天王 》《护法女神》《四臂观音》等。
