男 ，汉族 ，1931年生 ，陕西凤翔人。第一批国家级非物质文化遗产项目泥塑（凤翔泥塑）代 表性传承人 ，中国艺术研究院民间艺术创作研究员。胡深自幼随父亲胡克勤学艺 ，至今从事 彩绘泥塑六十余年。胡深的泥塑作品造型古朴 ，形象夸张 ，色彩鲜艳 ，对比强烈 ，线条流 畅 ，美观大方。 20世纪80年代他多次应邀到中央美术学院、 中央工艺美术学院讲学。代表作 品有：《泥塑马》《泥塑大座虎》等。他的几个子女都积极跟随胡深学艺 ，现在均已能独立 制作泥塑作品。
